Family and Friends CPR Certification:
CPR Solutions, Inc. offers CPR certification through the American Heart Association for the general public. We utilize hands-on practice and scenario-based learning, offered in a relaxed, supportive environment. Participants leave the class feeling confident and prepared to respond to a cardiac emergency.
Heartsaver CPR Certification
This course teaches non-healthcare individuals how to recognize life-threatening emergencies including cardiac arrest and choking (for adults, children, and infant victims), and offer life-saving treatment. Participants also learn to recognize the warning signs of heart attack and stroke in adults and breathing difficulties in children. AED (automated external defibrillator) training also included with this course.
CPR for Schools and Daycares
This class provides CPR training and first aid emergency medical response utilizing the skills and instructional methodology guidelines from the American Heart Association. We tailor the learning experience to situations that may occur in schools and daycares involving children, infants and adults.
Healthcare Provider BLS CPR
This course is designed to teach American Heart Association CPR skills to healthcare professionals. The training focuses on victims of all ages and includes practice using ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, as well as the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO).
Heartsaver First Aid
Designed for individuals working in healthcare as well as the general public, this course covers Basic First Aid material.
Training includes instruction on:
· finding the problem
· breathing problems
· adult/child choking
· bad allergic reactions
· Epinephrine pens
· chest pain and heart attacks
· fainting, strokes
· seizures
· shock
· bleeding that can and cannot be seen
· wounds
· head and spine injuries
· broken bones and sprains
· burns and electrocutions
Heartsaver First Aid w/ CPR
This course includes both Heartsaver CPR and Heartsaver First Aid.
AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) Training
Having individuals on-site who are trained to use Automated External Defibrillators greatly increases the chances of a victim’s survival. These machines administer rapid defibrillation prior to EMS arriving, and can make the difference between life and death.
This training includes recognition of unresponsive victims, a review of equipment operation and maintenance, discussion of treatment, and valuable hands-on practice designed to increase confidence. CPR certification is a pre-requisite, or can be added to this course.
Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid
Information for the lay rescuer on how to respond to illnesses and injuries in children until professional help arrives. Includes Universal Precautions training in the use of gloves and goggles, handwashing, disposal of hazardous materials.
